Thank you for joining us for the third annual Everything Under the Sun Parade! Whether you signed up as a group or an individual, we’re so excited to have you be a part of this celebration. Join us in wearing the colors of the sun (yellows and oranges)!! 
Here’s everything you need to know to be parade-ready!


Location

We’ll meet at the Llewellyn Elementary School playground and end at Sellwood Community House’s Shack at Sellwood Park. 


Parade Route

We’ll gather at the playground at Lewellyn Elementary School, walk east along SE Tolman St., head south down SE 13th, then west on SE Miller, and end up at Sellwood Park.

*NOTE: There are two additional entry points along the route for anyone who wants a shorter walk. They are at the Oaks Bottom Overlook (at SE Bybee and SE 13th Ave) and at SE Miller and SE 13th Ave.


Schedule

1:00 PM — Check-In Opens

  • Look for a check-in table with volunteers in yellow Everything Under the Sun t-shirts. They’ll help you find your spot in the lineup and answer any questions.

1:45 PM — Line-Up Complete 

  • All participants must be lined up and ready to begin the parade.

2:00 PM — Parade Begins  

  • We will be starting on time, so please be prompt! 

3:00 PM — Parade Finale 

  • The parade will culminate with music, dance, and celebration at the end of the route. Stay on in the park for Sellwood Community House’s planned festivities (go here for more info!).

Some other things to know

No Storage On-Site: There is no secure storage at the park. Please keep your belongings with you, as organizers are not responsible for lost items.

Bring your own water & snacks: No food or drink will be provided, so please bring your own or grab something nearby in the Sellwood neighborhood.

Rain or Shine! Be prepared for any weather. We’ll bring the *Sun* (puppet)!

Individual Participants: If you signed up solo (not as part of a group), please allow a little extra time during check-in. A volunteer will help you find your place.
